Aguja Formation Micros! My First Dino Tooth!

I got some more Aguja formation matrix from Brewster County Texas. And happily, I found my First Dinosaur Tooth!! Plus some other really nice little things!

I think it is a scute.  The circles are indentations, not teeth.  That is what I see, anyway.

Understood; but sometimes all the teeth are missing leaving just the 'sockets'.

Love that Dromaeosaurid tooth, nice find.  A photo of the base can help determine if its cf Saurornitholestes 

The Paralbula taxon that is described from the Aguja is indeed P. casei

I agree with jpc that bone might be a vert, more photos

I'm in the scute camp on that fragment.

That vert might be from a Lepisoteidae (gar fish)

@Troodon - the vert has a distinct concave on one side and convex on the other so maybe turtle?

All my previous comments have been in regard to this piece...also referred to as a "scute".  I should have been more specific.  ;)
