Have some Mid Devonian brachiopod or bivalve shells that I am not sure about, tried to do some research on my own on what I found. Hoping to get some ID confirmation or help here. Greatly appreciate the help. 7 pictures below:

1. Bivalve Shell? Moscow Formation I believe

Wondering the difference between these two spirifers:

1 - looks like a bivalve, but it could be any number of them.  They can look fairly similar. Maybe something like Leiopteria conradi.

2 - looks more like a gastropod to me, possible Ruedemannia trilix.

However, Mourlonia sp. is another possibility.

I can sort of see the shape of a gastropod for number 2 now, bigger than I thought it would be. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

Could 1 be a distorted Athyris spiriferoides? And 2 looks more like a Rugose coral than anything to me, would that be possible?

That is indeed a possibility. Hard to say, with the photos as they stand. Usually, I see more black shell like material on Athyris, but it could be.

The more oblong shape has me feeling like it's a bivalve, but it could be very distorted.

If we could see the inside/back of number 2, it would be helpful. Could be a rugose coral, as well.

No I'm not. I mentioned later that it could be a rugose coral.

Having edited the picture of #1, I think it could actually be Meristella sp.

Just noticed I have to change the genus name of my Atrypa devoniana from Iowa.

Here are more pictures of 2. I wetted the specimen to expose some more detail

I would go with Rugose coral for the last one now.

Nice catch, @Misha
