Palaeophis vert? Sea Snake.

I believe this vert is from the Eocene sea snake Palaeophis sp. If so a very rare find. 

This is also from my new pit. Eocene Castle Hayne Formation, Comfort Member. Jones County, N.C.

It is indeed! Nice find! I will caution and say it is difficult to tell the difference between Pterosphenus and Palaeophis - both are in the same family, Palaeophiidae. So, certainly a palaeophiid sea snake but genus level ID escapes my abilities.
