KitKat
Hi all, this is my first post here. I found this the other day on a north shore Long Island NY beach, down at the water's edge. Looks like a partially peeled hardboiled egg. Was wondering what, if anything, it could be? I've tried to research as much as I could, but running into dead ends. Thanks in advance! Coco
It is a concretion that looks like sandstone. I see that the photo was made at the location of the find, but in the future do not make a photo of your samples in your hands because it accentuates the blur, and if you do not have a rule, click on the last link of my signature, Print the paper and put your fossils on it before you take your pictures Coco 1 ---------------------- OUTIL POUR MESURER VOS FOSSILES : ici Ma bibliothèque PDF 1 (Poissons et sélaciens récents & fossiles) : ici Ma bibliothèque PDF 2 (Animaux vivants - sans poissons ni sélaciens) : ici Mâchoires sélaciennes récentes : ici Hétérodontiques et sélaciens : ici Oeufs sélaciens récents : ici Otolithes de poissons récents ! ici Un Greg...
