Guest Nicholas
I'm currently watching a program on the Discovery Channel about Triassic period Gigantism in Dinosaurs, it is very interesting thus far. The theory of the their massive size and increased life span suggests that within their hollow bones, Dinosaurs had air sacks made up of air pockets which allowed them to not only hold more oxygen but take in more oxygen with each breathe. During this time period Oxygen was significantly lower and this method allowed Dinosaurs to use these air sacks as an advantage over Mammals of the time. My question is how do you all feel about this theory? Have any other ideas of what could attribute to the Gigantism of Dinosaurs such as Supersaur?
