Unknown fossil

Hello everyone, I need help to identify this fossil, it was found in morocco near essaouira in a meeting point between a river and the atlantic ocean, I was told that it's a mammoth tooth but I'm not sure, thank you in advance.

Stegodon looks close.

Is this another over prepped fossil?  It sort of looks correct  but it also looks kind of funny particularly the dark central area.

And no this is not a prepped fossil, I didn't buy it, it was given to me by a person I know and he founded himself in a dry river.
