Fossilized Florissant Feathers?

Just as it says in the title, are these feathers from the Eocene Florissant Formation of Colorado. Or are they plant parts. They both are about 9mm long, 1/3 of an inch.

Thanks guys, I thought the structures looked more feather-like. However it wouldn't hurt to double check.

Also microscopic examination is a good idea, I found a tiny, tiny bug clinging to one of my feathers.

I don't have a microscope right now (I'm looking for a new one) but I can show pics with a regular phone magnification app: You can see the little particle on the bottom-most barbule.
