fossil_lover_2277
I recently purchased some more Moroccan fossils, including several shark teeth...I tried IDing them on my own, here are my guesses (scale is in inches; 1 inch = 2.5 cm), am I close? I don’t have much experience IDing Eocene teeth, so I’m not sure. Thanks!!! 1. Otodus obliquus 2. Cretolamna appendiculata 3. Cretolamna aschersoni 4. Striatolamia macrota 5. Jaekelotodus spp. 6. Brachycarcharias atlasi 7. Tooth I have no idea on (had cusps but they broke off) 8. Jaw bone section I have no idea on 9. Fossil I have no idea on Edited September 30, 2021 by Lando_Calrissian_4tw
fossil_lover_2277
Anyone have any input? Just curious as to what these teeth are and if I assigned them correctly!
fossil_lover_2277
@Anomotodon @Praefectus @pachy-pleuro-whatnot-odon Would any of you have any input on these if you get a free chance? You all helped me learn a lot from that Moroccan crocodile tooth a while back, thanks for that btw! I’m hoping to learn from any mistakes I made in IDing these teeth here Edited October 2, 2021 by Lando_Calrissian_4tw
pachy-pleuro-whatnot-odon
Sorry, can't really help you, I'm afraid. I know next to nothing of sharks' teeth...
