NSR Plesiosaur or fish?

HI All, 

 

Found this at the NSR today. Confused some. Thought fish...then plesiosaur....then fish...no not sure.... Came here for the experts to tell what it is.

It's fish, and given the size, I'm fairly certain it's Xiphactinus

Agree, this is fish, based on the depressions/concavities along the rim of the vertebra...

Is the acronym "NSR" North Sulphur River? After some googling I'm guessing it's this locale, rather than New Source Review, National Scenic Railway or Non-sexual relationship.
