Another large thick mammal bone

I found this one in the same area of the one I just posted. I wonder if it is from the same critter? @ParkerPaleo

Looks like a toe bone.  Look at mammoth/mastodon toe bones to see which one it matches.  Keep looking, maybe the rest is thee somewhere!!

Looks like another mammoth foot bone to me.  It's a metatarsal, not quite sure which number though.  3rd or 4th seems to be a good starting point.

If you are passing through Lincoln, Nebraska, stop by Elephant (Morrill) hall, they have many mounted skeletons you can compare to.  I was having some trouble finding good examples online.  I believe the Hot Springs, SD has mounted examples too.  They had a paleontologist on duty to answer questions last time we were there.
