Found in Greenville, NC. No idea what it may be.

When I picked this up I assumed it was an oddly weathered pebble, but upon closer inspection its very symmetrical, which makes me think its likely a fossil. Of what I can’t tell. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I included a few different angles so that the contrast would be evident, I apologize for the iffy lighting.

We really need better pictures. Close up and on focus. Read some of the pinned topics on getting your item I.D.'d. With that said, I am getting two different vibes this. One is a worn sea Robin skull, the other tilly bone. Both very common at GMR.

Bulldozers and dirt Bulldozers and dirt
behind the trailer, my desert
Them red clay piles are heaven on earth
I get my rocks off, bulldozers and dirt

@sixgill pete Thanks for the input! The photos seemed to be fairly focused when I took thhem, but I guess they aren't as clear when blown up on a larger screen. Noted for future pots *and* I'll use the centimeter side of the ruler next time. That being said, either of those seem like viable answers to me.
