nature_tim Posted October 11, 2021 Share Posted October 11, 2021 When I picked this up I assumed it was an oddly weathered pebble, but upon closer inspection its very symmetrical, which makes me think its likely a fossil. Of what I can’t tell. Any help is greatly appreciated! I included a few different angles so that the contrast would be evident, I apologize for the iffy lighting. With that said, I am getting two different vibes this. One is a worn sea Robin skull, the other tilly bone. Both very common at GMR. The photos seemed to be fairly focused when I took thhem, but I guess they aren't as clear when blown up on a larger screen. Noted for future pots *and* I'll use the centimeter side of the ruler next time. That being said, either of those seem like viable answers to me.
