Hi,

I was wondering if this could be a Pachystropheus bone? Although it is damaged, it looks similar to pictures of Pachystropheus femurs, could it be a femur? It measures 4.5cm. There's a tooth next to it, the closest possiblity I could find was Ichthyosaur, but I couldn't find anything that similar, so could this be an Ichthyosaur tooth? On the other side, there's some other things. I think the larger tooth could possibly be Severnichthys, and one slightly lower down to be Lissodus minimus

I'd appreciate any help,

Many thanks :)

I'd like to see a better picture of image #2. But the whole specimen.

Brighter. Also from Directly above.

Pictures of the ends of the pieces would help as well.

Hopefully this helps, I tried multiple lamps, but it seems to make the image worse somehow, so it might be best if I get some pictures in the sun tomorrow.

Unfortunately it was cloudy most of the day, so I couldn't catch enough sunlight to shine and lighten up the picture, but I've just taken this closer picture of one of the teeth and and end of the bone.

Yes it certainly looks like one. Always hard to tell from unprepped photos of Aust material.

Its a fish tooth and it looks like there’s part of a shark spine on the reverse of the bone.

Thank you, is it this that would be the spine? I also have this other one in another rock, is it possible this is a fin spine? It's about 9cm.

The second pic is a spine. I’m not too sure about the first - it looks like a bone. How thick is the first one.

Thank you, the first one does look more like a bone than anything else. It measures 2.5cm in length and 5mm thick.
