Nice. Looks like you have overwhelmingly Moroccan material there.

Appreciate the comment TFF.... Been at it 45 years now, bit by bit and usually small time.

Nice additions to your collection.  Question that Afrov tooth from Niger are you sure its one?  Preservation and shape just different that others I've seen.

Thank you....

I am 99% positive on the Afrovenator tooth as the Paleontologist who I'D it is in good standing... I'm new to Niger fossils so I have to have that trust in those way more knowledgeable than myself....

Below is another Afrovenator abakensis i acquired from him, albeit a much worse off specimen....

Here are 3 other Afrovenator teeth from members here, with mine at the top for comparison...

You cannot just look at profiles of Jurassic teeth to identify them.   Location, formation, features like location of mesial carina, serration density are characteristics that need to be considered when identify these teeth.  If first needs to be a meglosaurid but determining the how far the mesial carina extends down the crown,, then you can look at other characteristics.  I put the attached topic to help dealers and collectors identify them.

The preservation on the 3 teeth you show and those in the topic are typical of what you see from the jurassic of Niger, very different than yours.

You

Troodon is right of course.

Isolated Dinosaur teeth identification does NOT simply boil down to an arithmetic exercise

Nice adds much nicer photos of that Acheroraptor tooth than your other post.  Yea that Afrovenator tooth is very suspect.   Should have @Troodon check it out.  He would need specifics

@Haravex you deal in lots of Niger teeth any thoughts?
