Hell Creek vertebra, caudal vertebra from a Edmontosaurus?

Hello everyone I purchased this hell creek vertebrae as I’ve not got much dinosaur material from there,(from the uk) just wanted to make sure the sellers ID is correct, locality is Powder River, Montana, Hell Creek Formation

On the surface it does not look like one.  Need better photos, straight in photos: sides and ends no obtuse angles or hands and size.

Thanks for the quick reply troodon, I purchased it tonight it wasn’t too expensive it should arrive in a day or two.

Tthe seller says the size is 2.5 inches but that’s about it no diameters, any idea what it could be?

Great thats all the measurement I needed.  When you get it please provide me the photos.  Might be Ceratopsian with that round end.

Thanks I wanted to make sure since centrums are very difficult to diagnose.  I think what you have is a dorsal of a ornithischian either Thescelosaurus or Pachycephalosaurus most likely the former.

Would the best way to label it be just (dorsal vertebrae from a ornithischians sp) and the locality?
