Dinosaur or croc Scales? - Judith River Dinosaur bone

I found this in the Judith River formation last weekend near the Milk River, I assumed it was just croc scute but it is thicker and different texture, maybe its turtle or a different kind of croc. @patrickhudson thinks its dinosaur skin but I doubted him.

Yup, turtle... A dinosaur skin impression would look like this (albeit from the Hell Creek):

Greetings!

 

I believe this is a piece of a carapace of a nice grown-up turtle -- part of a piece of right costal plate of this individual. Still, I could not rule out that this is part of a crocodile osteoderm, either.
