I believe you can see Schreger lines that are less than 90 degrees- which indicates mammoth. I'm new to this though, any help would be appreciated. You are correct on the 1st one.. it has Schreger lines and just think how difficult that would be to make up. It also shows the concentric "rings"....typical of tusk material... You did not show us the end of the 2nd one...
