Hdgovroom
Ok guys, is this better? This came from the Columbia Gorge near Vancouver, Wa. It’s 18cm x 10cm and is shaped like a pelvic bone. Any idea what it is from or is it just another rock?
Hdgovroom
Here is a chip out of it. Stupid cat!
garyc
Actually, the cat may have helped. If it was bone, that chip would have revealed the typical bony, spongey looking structure. Other than a suggestive shape , I’m just seeing some interesting geology
Fossildude19
Not a bone, and only a vague resemblance to a pelvic bone. Another rock, unfortunately. Hdgovroom
LOL I’m getting real discouraged here! Ya’ll probably think I’m nuts by now. Just in case you don’t, how about this one? I was looking over this clam shell yesterday and noticed that the clam is still inside. I can feel it and have looked at it with a jewelers loupe Now don’t you guys go raining on my parade again.
