It has a suggestive shape, it would be of great help, clearer photos to better see the texture of the stone, and the location where it was found.

Well, they have not improved much.
It seems to me an eroded stone with a curious and suggestive shape.
  Wait for the answers from the experts. But without better photos, and the location of that beach, it will be more difficult for them to help you.

My money would be on this being a fragment of fossil shell.

On the typical beach that is referred to as fossil beach they represent a significant proportion of the surface material. 

Had I collected every specimen of exogyra (cretaceous oyster) that I've seen since landing in TX, I would have filled a pickup truck bed. :)
