FF7_Yuffie
I messaged seller a week ago for extra photos and haven't heard anything back, unfortunately, so this is all there is. Sold as a Tyrannosaur vertebrae and Optical Condyle bone. Found in Baker, Montana. That's literally all the info there is--not even measurements, and there's been zero response from the seller unfortunately. So, sorry about that. If anyone can suss anything out from the dodgy photos, that would be great.
jpc
Optical ??!! Condyle. I think they meant Occiptal Condyle. I do not know how to tell the difference between the three large occiptal condyles to be found in the Hell Creek (in the Baker, MT area). The internal texture of the vert is NOT a rex. I advise....Do not pay rex prices for these. And you can send me the money you just saved as a consultant fee. 1
Troodon
JP is spot on. Its from a herbivore. Internal structure of a Trex vertebra . Very honeycomb structure. 3
FF7_Yuffie
Thanks very much. I'll give these a miss, then.
Nanotyrannus35
Yeah, I saw that listing too, seemed too risky though because some sellers just slap the name "T. Rex" unto chunkosaur. 1 Enthusiastic Fossil Hunter
