But I recently got a copy of Olsen's "Post-Cranial Skeletal Characters of Bison and Bos," and it has a lot of helpful comparative diagrams for different bones. This diagram may be helpful. fossilus Posted November 29, 2021 Share Posted November 29, 2021 Is it well mineralized? I would say deer sized, but not a deer. Looks more like a partial carnivore. If not mineralized maybe canine.
