New Castle VA Devonian Ostracod?

Hi all, I collected this fossil a while back, I’m wondering, is it an example of a large ostracod? The fossil is from the Devonian Chemung/Foreknobs formation near New Castle, VA. I have no idea what it is, but ostracods are known from the area, and I could see them as a possibility. Any ideas?

*fossil is 3cm in length

Very interesting @fossil_lover_2277... :headscratch:I don't think that it is an ostracod, it is too large and it doesn't present the same features as I would expect. Maybe some some sort of bivalve, or a damaged plant fossil. My other thought is mineral staining, though I think that this is less likely. I'll be interested to hear what others have to say on this.

My first reaction was phyllocarid.
