Can someone please help me to I'd  this? It has what appears to be a thick yellow shell that has reptile outer shell look.

I don't know exactly what it is, but it doesn't appear to be an egg.

The 'shell' has uneven thickness and is much too thick for a hatchling to break free.

I'm not sure exactly what it is either, some sort of concretion, I should think.

Looking at all the little inclusions inside wondering if it could it be coprolite? Knowing size would help.

Looks like a bryozoan, perhaps, an encrusting form on a shell.

I think the 'innards' are bits of shell debris that have collected inside the 'pocket, which itself may be a shell fragment. It looks like it has a bryozoan film on the convex side (or even some sponge encrustation). I think it is pretty neat!
