Fossildude19
Not a snake fossil. Looks like a concretion, with weathering patterns on the outer rind. 4 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Mark Kmiecik
I knew I had seen that somewhere before. Thanks. Beautiful specimen! It's a keeper. Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
Auspex
Me likey! What does the other side look like? I also think it is likely of geologic origin, but I cannot escape the thought that the swirly-patterned layered area resembles a worn mollusc shell.
