Jurassicz1
I saw this cow shark tooth (Notidanodon loozi) from the phosphates of Oulad Abdoun Basin, Morocco. My question is if its possibly restored / repaired or not good quality. Is this a good shark tooth?

bthemoose
This looks glued together in the middle with some fill added (where there’s a vertical line across the root that’s a different color and texture). I’m not sure if these are found broken or if they break during extraction, but some amount of repair seems to be pretty common with Moroccan Notidanodon loozi teeth. I have a large, glue-repaired one in my collection that I quite like. It’s really up to you in terms of what you’re after and are looking to spend. 2

Paleorunner
I agree that the tooth is match , glued, and restored, just as you have said. @bthemoose Just add, if you look closely, in the photo on the left, the base of the crown next to the crown on the left, which is in the vertical of the break, is broken and they have applied filling.
