A new ankylosaurid from the Upper Cretaceous Nemegt Formation of Mongolia and implications for paleoecology of armoured dinosaurs

Tarchia tumanovae constitutes the third ankylosaurid from the Nemegt Formation and increases the number of Tarchia species to three. I remember that PIN 3142/250 was once referred to "Tarchia gigantea" (an outdated combination for the nomen dubium Dyoplosaurus giganteus), before being later referred to Saichania and finally described as the new taxon Tarchia teresae.
