Purplesandpiper
A little perplexed on this one. I’m guessing ghost shrimp claw perhaps? Found near Ramenessin while sifting. Tooth of some sort maybe? I’m open to options but for now thinking claw. Edited November 28, 2021 by Purplesandpiper
Fossildude19
This looks like an omnivorous mammal molar. Maybe coyote. 1 2 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." When I looked at the top photo, my first thought was coyote, on based on what I've read and seen her on TFF. I'm way too pleased with myself, but It is the expertise here that I should thank! 1 'Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.' Purplesandpiper
Thanks for all the help on this! Amazingly this is my 11 yr old’s find and being new at this I’m not good with identifying things other than the usual shark teeth, ammonites, verts and things like that. Still learning so thanks for all the education! Edited November 28, 2021 by Purplesandpiper
Mark Kmiecik
Nice find. Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
