Lone Hunter
These obviously aren't fossils but I'm curious non the less, the only identifiable one looks to be a tiny jaw. A couple of them were attached to owl pellets so assuming that's where they all came from, so mouse would make sense, are those mouse teeth? Found in open field at Grayson site where they were mixed in and stuck in mud along with fossils.
Fossildude19
Mole or vole, would be my guess. Lone Hunter
Thank you both, I wouldn't have thought about a vole or mole around here. Probably easy target for owl.
FB003
Easy target for a dog too. Can't remember how many times we've had to stop the dogs from chasing them. 1 *Frank*
Lone Hunter
Aww poor little critters, had no idea they were so plentiful and I imagined them sneaking around in the dark.
