Meg or Chub?

I bought this 4.8” tooth and it was advertised as being likely a giant chubutensis tooth, but said it was a Megalodon to be on the safe side. Can anyone here positively identify it? This was found in a river outside of Summerville, SC.

This might help some.  I don't see the cusps on this one personally so I'm also leaning towards a meg.

It's such a sliding scale. Remember that one evolved into the other.

I see the remnants of at least one cusplet which has nearly merged with the blade (circled in yellow).  

Call it a transitional Meg if you like

Megatoothed teeth are described by the age of the deposit they were found in.  Megalodon is a miocene/pliocene  shark where Chubutensis are of earlier age deposits.
