Near perfect carcharodon hastilis

I bought this beauty last month and it finally arrived this morning. This should be the best preserved shark tooth  among all the specimens I have ever touched. It’s 2.17 inches long and it’s also has a little bit pathology to both side of the edge.

Really satisfied with the color of this tooth, and the glass like enamel!089F2663-3296-47B2-B2D1-608994F5D327.thumb.jpeg.a8bd5cd53a8f2f91db79caa5c8634a88.jpeg8582E15D-E4C0-4A1D-8AD0-84C68B37130B.thumb.jpeg.894541e4b89a47a7a78b1fdc87ef700e.jpeg

A little damage on one side of the blade, I think it might be the only flaw on this one.

But, look at the black line …How clear and bright .

Beside, it has a cusp like edge at the very end of the blade and a cusp like root.

I am curious how such small details can be kept so complete, even after millions of years.

Where was this tooth found?  Nice specimen.

Not sure, only knows that the seller lives in Florida.

I asked him where he found it but he never answered me.
