Recommended Posts

I have an old collection. I bought it from a fossil hunter in Java, Indonesia.

The Length 20 cm. The Width 10 cm.  The Weight 3 kg

I don't know if it is a real Rhino Horn Fossil or fake. Please give me some opinion about this.

It looks absolutely fake. I'm seeing a carved and polished fossil bone. If it's stone-heavy there's basically no way it's a rhino horn.

Rhinoceros 'horns' are composed of keratin, and have a different appearance, distinguishable whether polished or not.
