Hello,

Anyone know what species this is (and if it's legit)? The seller simply calls it a heteromorph from Germany, late Cretaceous ~ 60mya and measures about 10.8 cm long.

It looks close to a Perisphinctidae ammonite, which is Jurassic. I don't think it's a heteromorph ammo.

Please wait Roger's opinion, he's an expert in ammo and he's from Germany. :)

Aegocrioceras capricornu is a species from the early Cretaceous in Resse which looks somewhat similar, but the ribbing is completely different. This appears to me, as abyssunder mentions, to be a deformed Perisphinctid. The fact that the inner whorls are missing is another reason for suspicion. I would pass on this one.
