There was a post asking about bones found in the aurora museum fossil dig pits.   Mostly I have found dolphin vertebrae, and assorted shark teeth and lots of unidentified bone fragments.  I dont know what this is , it looks mostly complete and has some obvious muscle attatchment sites- I was thinking humerus but the broken surface has a flat articulating surface.  Help will be appreciated

the first two photos show where pieces are missing adjacent to the flat "articular surface"  whatever the rest of the bone is I dont see missing pieces.    This is why I thought it should be recognizable even as I dont  understand what I am looking at

That seems to be all that is clearly external bone surface in the photos as I see it. :zzzzscratchchin:

I assume where I see  smooth cortical bone i am seeing an intact surface .  If that is wrong then there is nothing to id.

Bulldozers and dirt Bulldozers and dirt
behind the trailer, my desert
Them red clay piles are heaven on earth
I get my rocks off, bulldozers and dirt
