Is this a fossil clam or modern?

I found this at the Mount Laurel formation at the C&D canal Delaware. Wondering if it’s a fossil and if it is, the scientific name.

Is it very shiny with a silvery shimmer? Is it slightly translucent? Is so then it might be a Cretaceous Anomia.

My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.
