Moroccan Bones

TyrannosaurusRex

Recommended Posts

Hey all, I acquired a large box of bones from the Kem Kem beds of Morocco. I don’t have information on them besides that. I suspect a large number of these are crocodilian, but there’s an assortment of other things as well.
All told there’s probably 60-90 bones in the box, so I’m going to avoid putting too many in a post.

All measurements are in inches.

I'm not real familiar with whale bones but the Vertebrae in group "A" might be whale vertebrae.

Set C appears to have some turtle bones in the mix, particularly #4.

Set D might have more whale Vertebrae.

Set E #3 I believe is a Crocodylomorph vertebra.

Sorry I'm not much more help then that.

Thank you for the information, that’s incredibly helpful. I had figured most of this stuff was marine in origin, so I do find your identification information of the whale vertebra to be informative.

Thank you for taking the time to reply!
