Benna
This was acquired at a swap meet on California central coast. I'm an avid rock hound, it came with a small collection of sagenite purchased 20 plus years ago. I would really appreciate anyone taking time to give an opinion, guess, thought on its identity. TyrannosaurusRex
It reads as being geologic in origin, not a fossil to me. Do you have any information on where it came from? It’s age, etc?

TyrannosaurusRex
Ah that is a much more useful angle. I’ve cropped and brightened it. There appears to be more texture indicative of it not being geologic from this angle, I’ll go find what I can, but this is quite an interesting piece.
Mahnmut
Hi, this does not look like a vertebrate claw to me, rather something crustacean?
