ThePhysicist
Hi y'all, I found this neat mammal molar from the Aguja yesterday. My best guess is a Eutherian or Metatherian upper molar. @jpc@Troodon 2 "Argumentation cannot suffice for the discovery of new work, since the subtlety of Nature is greater many times than the subtlety of argument." - Carl Sagan "I was born not knowing and have had only a little time to change that here and there." - Richard Feynman Collections: Hell Creek Microsite | Hell Creek/Lance | Dinosaurs | Sharks | Squamates | Post Oak Creek | North Sulphur River | Lee Creek | Aguja | Permian | Devonian | Triassic | Harding Sandstone Instagram: @thephysicist_tff
jpc
Excellent find. Metatherian (marsupial) will have a series of small cusps to the left of the two central cusps. Tough to say from the pix but i think they might be there. That is an unusually large shelf to the left of the same cusps.
