Jurassicz1
Hi! I got this type of jaw from the Kem Kem Beds of Morocco. I was thinking some type of fish? Hope somebody has an idea of what it can be. Regards
PaleoNoel
I would say fish, I've found similar, albeit smaller jaw sections from bowfin in the Hell Creek and Lance formations. The tooth sockets look too small to be crocodylomorph or dinosaur, plus no rugose ornamentation one would associate with crocs. Kem Kem has a lot of fish but I think it's safe to cross off the giant coelocanth Mawsonia, giant lungfish Neoceratodus and sawfish like Onchopristis from the list of possibilities.
