As most of y'all know, I enjoy photographing my fossils almost as much as I like finding them! So here are my Best Finds of 2021!

No measurements because of "artistic preference" but they are arranged from smallest to largest in each category. I'd love to see your Favorite Finds of 2021 too!

lovely presentation of cool fossils.   Did you do the photos on a scanner or with a camera?  The white background suggests the former.

Great stuff, i am partial to the shark teeth:beer:That eocene abdounia is not a reticona, i find it bears more similiarities in cusplet structure with Abdounia enniskilleni

Intersesting....I have two papers on the fauna found at this site and enniskelleni is not listed. I will have to do a bit more research!

Camera, actually.  The smaller pieces are done with a Hayaer Microscope camera but anything bigger than 1/4 inch is just with a plain ole point and shoot Canon.

Awesome findings and photos! I especially like the Sauronitholestes tooth and the Distichoceras bicostatum ammonite! Very beautiful Paracycloceras too!

I agree the tooth is definitely not A. recticona and absolutely looks like A. enniskilleni.

Thanks for sharing this great year of collecting and a fantastic presentation.

Really nice variety of finds and as others have said, great presentation! I love the coloring of that Orthacanthus tooth. Is it as blue in person as it looks in the photo?
