what kind of cephalopod is this?

Hi everyone this is Matt again.

Can anyone tell me what kind of cephalopod this is in this rock?

Heya Matt! Neat find. :) 

 

Can you get some closer pictures? Maybe from a couple of different angles? I’m not sure it is a cephalopod, but it looks pretty cool regardless! A few different pictures may help us figure out what it is.

I'm not sure it is a cephalopod either, Matt.  :headscratch:

 

Looks more like a bivalve, to me.

Better pictures might help us decide what you do have there.

I think I can see some growth lines in a blown up version of the picture.

If possible, you could also try cleaning it up a bit more to try and get a better idea of what it might be.
