This seems too "bubbly" to be turtle shell. Any ideas?

 

Found Myrtle Beach, January, 2022.

 

Thin, bubbly texture on both sides. Marrow type stipling inbetween.

does look vaguely armadillo / glyptodont but think one side should be rough.
