PSchleis Posted January 27, 2022 Share Posted January 27, 2022 (edited) Myrtle beach, 2022 2 inches long. I don’t usually try to identify bone that I pick up since they are just fragments. But this piece has a very clear channel running through it. It’s hard to photograph that channel well but it’s in the first photo. The channel runs the entire length of the piece then fades out toward the end. Including pictures of both sides and from the thick end on. Is this piece recognizable to anyone? Thank you! Great eye. Would also explain why the outside is not textured like other catfish spine the kind folks here have identified for me.
