JustinTime81
In Northeast Texas near the town of Wolfe City there is a small creek called Oyster Creek that got its name from the fossilized oyster shells that can be found along the creek bottom. Today I had the privilege to walk along the creek and found the following specimens, but I'm new to fossils and seeking help identifying/ageing them. I'm especially unsure what #3 is, it has appearances of a fossil but its hard to tell. There were a lot of these #3 types of "rocks" in the creek bottom. This was one of the smaller ones. TyrannosaurusRex
Exogyra. Nice find! edit, photos for #3 just showed up I believe it’s just a rock, but I may be entirely wrong. I’d wait for others to chime in on that one. Edited February 8, 2022 by TyrannosaurusRex Another image just loaded
Thomas.Dodson
The first two are Exogyra sp. oysters, probably Exogyra ponderosa based on the general locality. The third doesn't look like a fossil to me.
