Fossil found

Hello we found this tooth while sifting for shark teeth in the Peace river in Arcadia Florida USA. It was found in the gravel patches near the middle of the river. Anyone know what it could be from?

We need an exact measurement of the length of the enamel.  Millemeter would be good.  Also look at the bottom of the tooth.  How many roots did the tooth have ?   2 ?  3 ?  Nice find..It is a predator, likely lower p2 or p3.

Very difficult to be correct without a measurement, but trying to extrapolate from the coin,  I guess the length of the enamel to be 20 mm,

This is a Jaguar premolar, 

 

I think it more likely to be a Dire Wolf premolar, either the left lower p3 or p4 based on size.

 

 

I found this jaw online and think p4 may be the match.

Thank you guys for the info. I will get a metric form of measurement tomarrow and post a picture. I do not have a printer.
