Show me your South American Megalodon Teeth!

One of the newer teeth in my Megalodon tooth collection. I have been collecting Megalodon Teeth for some months. now.

The tooth is around 4 8/16 inches big and has some restoration on the root.

 

I love the colors and serrations! Show me your South American megalodon teeth!

They do look wrinkly from the labial side but from the lingual side they really do resemble the side cusps of the earlier chrono-species. Those species never had teeth that reached the size of this whopper so there is something interesting going on here either pathologically or atavistically. Quite cool!

They are early Miocene…

 

this one portrays cusp like features as well
