Kmcnalley
Hi Everyone, I recently purchased this feeding worn theropod tooth that the seller had listed as unidentified, with it likely being a Tyrannosaur tooth. It is .42 inches long (straight line) and comes from Hell Creek. I was thinking it might be a Acheroraptor tooth, but its tough to tell due to the amount of feeding wear and enamel damage. I was wondering if anyone else could help me concretely identify it. Thanks! Edited February 13, 2022 by Kmcnalley
Troodon
First do you have a location on where this tooth is from. Looking for county or town. A number of formations in Montana that have similar teeth. Its a Tyrannosaurid tooth not a Dromaeosaurid. Can you post a picture of the base.
