connorp
I'm stumped on this one. Unfortunately it is not very well defined, but it seems like something interesting... I haven't found anything similar before. Any thoughts are appreciated. @stats @deutscheben @bigred97 @Nimravis @Mark Kmiecik @fiddlehead @flipper559
Mark Kmiecik
It has the general appearance of Rhacophyllum cornutum, but you know how bad my attempts at ID can be. 1 Mark. I unfortunately dont have a better guess though at the moment. Wish it was better preserved! Hoping Jack and the others can nail this form. 1

It appears a bit more "three-dimensional" than Rhacophyllum laminae, but this could be due to the roughness of the exposed surface... I wonder whether this could be a fertile structure of some kind? Say whorls of "cone-like" structures, similar to what you see in some sphenophytes? 2 Searching for green in the dark grey.
