Argentina paleontologists has uncovered the skull of an "unusual" and "armless", carnivore dinosaur (though I can see tiny little arms). It's a new type of abelisaurid that lived in a wide range of ecosystems. As stated by a Journal, the specimen shows plesiomorphic features for abelisaurids, including a thin skull roof, absence of skull projections like horns or bulges, and low and narrow parietal eminence that lie at the same level as the sagittal crest. The skull, named as Guemesia ochoai, was 70% smaller than most abelisaurids.
