My first attempt at prepping a fish fossil from Caithness.

I have finally finished preparing a Fossil lungfish (Dipterus valenciennesi) I found at Achanarras quarry, Caithness, and I though I would share the result. It took me about month to prep it using a dremel 290 engraver. I am pretty chuffed at how it has turned out. I managed to preserve most of the details of the fossil including fin rays.

Well done, especially considering the difficulty of prepping with the Dremel.

Good Job! Nice fish.  :Smiling: :Smiling:
