I found this amber inclusion for sale, and my first impression is that it looks like some kind of mammal tail. Maybe it's a plant?

These look like plant bits, to me.

Intriguing pieces, I can't help you with them unfortunately. 
I doubt the second is a actual piece of fossilized frog, though it could be a piece of shed skin of an amphibian as it resembles it very much. But it could still be something entirely different.

I don't see any bones in the "frog" which I think would have been preserved along with the skin. The first one first impressed me as being a plant part as well.

What makes me think it's a frog (or some remnant thereof) is what appears to be the forelimb. It strongly resembles the arm of a tree frog, with three fingers and a thumb. It also seems to have a vestigial fifth digit, like modern frogs, except with a visible claw at the end. None of the other digits have claws.

There also appear to be some toes.

"Appears" is the key word.

I'm not seeing any real indications of animals here.
