This Emileia contrahens ammonite is one of my all-time favorites from the fauna out of the Early Bajocian. It was found in the Laeviuscula zone in the region around Sherborne, Dorset, GB. I recieved it unprepped along with some other raw material from a befriended British paleontologist who gave me the samples in exchange for some prep work which I was doing for him at the time. I figured I'd turn this into my next sketching project. The small ammo on the matrix at the bottom is an Euhoploceras modestum.
